Most students don’t struggle
because they can’t do the work.
They struggle because
they can’t manage it consistently.
Kindred Cognition™ helps students manage workload, deadlines, and responsibilities with structured executive function coaching built for real life.
For students who are stuck in cycles of overwhelm, avoidance, and last-minute work.
Serving students in Savannah, Georgia, New York City, and remotely.
Even the brightest students can feel overwhelmed, inconsistent, or stuck.
Many of the students we work with are capable, insightful, and fully understand the material.
But assignments pile up.
Students avoid work until the last minute.
Students underestimate how long things will take, forget important deadlines or struggle to start, even when they want to do well.
At home, this often turns into repeated reminders, tension, frustration, and the feeling that everyone is stuck in the same cycle.
In many cases, students have already had support before:
tutoring
academic accommodations
therapy
neuropsychological evaluations
They may already understand how they think and learn. What’s often missing is a system that helps them apply that understanding consistently in real life.
That’s where we come in.

In practice, it means helping high school and college students:
- keep track of assignments and responsibilities
- manage time realistically
- start work without prolonged avoidance
- break large tasks into manageable steps
- follow through consistently
- communicate effectively with teachers and parents
- recover more quickly when things fall behind
We do not simply help students complete assignments. We help them develop a reliable way of managing academic life more independently.
Our approach is individualized, collaborative, and deeply practical. Every student works differently, so the support we provide is tailored to the way that student actually thinks, works, and responds.
Alongside clear systems and expectations, students receive consistent guidance, accountability, encouragement, and support from experienced educators who build trust over time.
Structure
Students use customized organizational systems designed to reduce overwhelm.
We help students organize:
- assignments
- deadlines
- schedules
- long-term projects
Everything lives in one reliable place so students are no longer relying on memory, avoidance, or guesswork.
Execution
Knowing what to do is not the same as being able to do it consistently.
We guide students through:
- getting started
- prioritizing
- staying focused
- completing work on time
Over time, students develop greater consistency, follow-through, and self-management.
Reflection
Students improve faster when they understand their own patterns.
We help students recognize:
- what helped
- what got in the way
- where systems broke down
- how to adjust moving forward
This process helps students become more self-aware, adaptable, and independent over time.
Over time, students become:
- more organized
- more consistent
- less overwhelmed
- more confident managing responsibilities
- less dependent on reminders and crisis management
Families often notice:
- less tension around school
- fewer battles over assignments
- more communication and ownership
- a student who is beginning to function more independently
Who We Are

Kindred Cognition was founded by Trinity Babe, a certified teacher with over 15 years of experience working with students across both special education and advanced academic settings.
Many students were not struggling because they lacked intelligence or potential. They were struggling because they lacked a reliable system for managing the demands placed on them.
Today, Trinity leads a team of experienced educators who help students develop the systems, habits, and skills needed to manage academic life more consistently and independently over time.
